Halloween Treats with Jenn
Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and candy (bloody) eyes
Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting
These are just traditional deviled eggs dressed up for Halloween. I cooked them in dyed water, cooled the dyed water, cracked the shells lightly, put them back in the water for three hours and then shelled them completely creating the spider web affect.
Bloody Brain Bits
Popcorn balls dyed red
Spider Infestation Cookies
Traditional chocolate chip cookies but then I piped in spider legs for a fun effect.
Garden of Good and Evil Candy Apples
Candy apples that I dyed red and black. I used red apples to make the black and green dye standout. For a fun Halloween twist, I used twigs instead of Popsicle sticks for the handles. Note, I got these at a craft store, not off a tree for sanitary reasons.
Brain Mold Cheese Dip
Cheese dip that I dyed a few different shades of green.
It’s a white chocolate cupcake with hazelnut frosting bought from Cup Tea Lounge in Scotland.
